What information do I need to order contact lenses online?
Contactlens Xchange guarantees that you will receive the exact brand/ model of contact lens that you have personally selected. Each prescription will be verified by our Quality Control team and then shipped sealed in the manufacturer’s sterile packaging and free of all manufacturer defects.
However, problems can occur.
If there are any problems with your order when you receive it, contact our Customer Service Department immediately. Contactlens Xchange is determined to offer you the finest customer service, and our customer service representatives will assist you in arranging a return and doing whatever it takes to make things right.
How do I place an order online?
To order contact lenses you need your contact lens prescription information provided by your Optometrist or Ophthalmologist :
Here is the prescription information that we need:
Regular Lenses, we will need:
- OD = Right Eye
- OS = Left Eye
- Brand Name (e.g. Acuvue)
- BC / Base Curve (a number between 8.0 and 10.0)
- DIA / Diameter (a number between 13.0 and 15.0)
- Power / Sphere / Rx (a number between -20.00 and +20.00)
For astigmatic patients, we also need:
- Cylinder (a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
- Axis (a number between 0" and 180")
- Cylinder and Axis are usually separated by "X" and read as "times"
Other Parameters might include:
- Add (a positive number between +0.25 and +5.00 - for bifocal lenses)
- Color (a word or phrase describing the color tint of a lens)

Prescription verification process :
1. You can email your valid prescription after you have placed the order with us

2. You can authorize us(the seller ) to verify your prescription via “direct communication” with the prescriber by providing your eye doctor/optician's ( prescriber ) Telephone / Fax or email contact so that we can verify your prescription expeditiously.

Note: In accordance with the contact lens rule, prescriptions are verified automatically if the prescriber doesn’t respond to the seller’s verification request within eight business hours.
According to the Rule, “prescriber” refers to anyone permitted under state law to issue prescriptions for contact lenses – including ophthalmologists, optometrists, and licensed opticians who also are permitted under state law to fit contact lenses (sometimes called “dispensing opticians”).
How secure is my credit card transaction?
Our online transactions are extremely safe as our system uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) - the industry standard for encryption technology.

How can I Track my order?
Your contactlens Xchange Account allows you to track all of your orders. Once you login to your account there is an Order Status page which is automatically updated with the current status of all your orders.
The page displays each order (past and present) with the Date Ordered, its Order Number, the Shipping Address, and the amount spent. The final column, reveals the status of that order. Most of these status levels are self-explanatory, but there are detailed descriptions of each status level below.
Explanations of the Status Levels -
- New - Your Order is received.
- Processing - Your order has been downloaded to our warehouse system and is now being checked, verifies & prepared for shipment.
- Partial Acknowledged - Your Order was processed with partial quantity/items (required item/quantity may not be in Full)
- Partially Shipped - Your Order has shipped with partial quantity/items (Order was shipped with partial quantity/items)
- Acknowledged - Your order processed with full Quantity / Items
- Shipped - Your Order was fully shipped, you can refer to your tracking number
- Shipped Balance - Your Balance Quantity / Items (Order) was shipped
- Canceled - Your order will appear as Cancelled if you have contacted our Customer Service Department and chosen to cancel your order
- Pending eCheck - Your Order is on Hold until PayPal cleared your eCheck
- Order Returned - Your order will appear as Returned if you have completed the Returns and Exchange process.

Shipping Information
When will my order ship?
At Contactlens Xchange, We are a United States-based Webstore and we deliver worldwide and stock 90% of the most popular contact lens parameters. This stock allows us to process orders the day that we receive them, and ship them out the following day. Uncommon prescriptions and problems with contacting your eye care professional add time to the processing of your order. Made-To-Order and Custom lenses (most Toric lenses fall into this category) have to be specially ordered, as a result, their processing times can vary so please be patient.

Due to logistics constraints, we do not accept orders from Uzbekistan, Cameroon, Angola, Palestine, Kenya, North Korea, and Pakistan.
Delivery times vary, but orders generally arrive 7-18 business days after their dispatch date. It is important to check with local customs departments in order to avoid any unexpected fees, duties, or delays that might result from your country’s importation policies.

Do you ship to APO or FPO addresses?
YES! We ship to both USA APO and FPO addresses, and we are proud to continue to offer our services to the men and women of the US Armed Forces.
If you want to ship your order to an APO/FPO address, just enter either APO or FPO in the ’city’ field, then choose the appropriate two-letter code in the "state" field. In addition, please be sure to select the United States in the "country" field.

Can I ship my contact lenses to an address other than my billing address?
Yes, you can specify a different shipping address during the Checkout Process. The system will automatically bring up the address information saved to your account. You can change/update this information in Step 2 of the Checkout process, changing either your billing or shipping address. This updated information will then be saved in your Account as your default address information.
So, to update your Address Information:
- Select your Lenses and order as Normal.
- Once you have reached the checkout page, you can review the Billing and Shipping Addresses associated with your contactlens Xchange Account.
- Correct the information as needed.
- Then Click ’Continue.’

How do I cancel an Order?
Contactlens Xchange works hard to make sure that you are satisfied and understand that mistakes do happen. You may cancel an order at any time before it has been shipped if you decide that you do not wish to complete the order (or any portion of it). Unfortunately, once your order has been shipped we are no longer able to cancel your order. If an order has already been shipped and you discover a problem you will need to refer to our Return policy in order to make any changes.

How do I return a product?
Contactlens Xchange guarantees that you will receive the exact brand/model of contact lens that you have personally selected. All contact lenses will be shipped in the sterile packaging provided by the manufacturer. If you find the product is unsatisfactory within thirty days of your order date you can return any or all unopened boxes or vials for a full refund.*
Return Process
· Obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number by contacting our Customer Service Department. All returned merchandise MUST be accompanied by an RMA number or it will not be processed.
· Print and fill out a Returns Form. You must mail the Returns Form along with a copy of the original Packing Slip with your return in order to receive credit. If you do not have access to either of these forms, you can attach a note to your order. This note must include your name, the order number, and the items you are returning (including the reason for their return) in order to be processed.
· Re-pack only unopened and sealed contact lens vials or boxes for return.
· Address For the return package will be given after you have contacted service for the RMA Number
Note: Our Company Contact address is not the warehouse address for return!
We recommend that you ship your return back to us via UPS or the US Postal Service ( USA Customers ) with insured service for your protection. We cannot assume responsibility for misdirected, damaged, or lost packages and insured shipping protects you in case your package is lost or damaged in transit.
* Notes -
- Custom Lenses, multifocal lenses including novelty and made-to-order lenses, cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged.
- Contact lenses that are mishandled and damaged by customers cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Toric lenses & Discontinued Lenses that require special arrangement by us cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged
- The wrong delivery address given by customers cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged.
- Contact lenses are an FDA-regulated product, and classified as a Class III device (21 CFR 886.5925). As such, federal law prohibits us from accepting any opened products for return or exchange, unless a product defect exists, it’s illegal for us to reuse or resell them.
- A US$2.50 fee will apply to each return/refund processed.
- Shipping and Handling charges are not refundable.
- Please be sure that your Packing Slip and the Returns Form are inside the package you are returning. Your return may take longer to be processed if the Returns Form or the Packing Slip is missing from the package.
- All exchanges and refunds will need to be verified by us and by the respective authorized agent ( manufacturer ) before this process can be accepted
- Mistakes caused by wrong prescriptions given and wrong product orders by customers cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged. You are responsible for the accuracy of your own prescription power hence update your prescription carefully.
It can take up to 6 weeks to complete the processing of your return (i.e., you send us the package, we credit you for your return, your credit card company reflects your credit, etc.). In the case of returns sent from APO/FPO addresses, the military, and US Postal Service handles delivery, so we are unable to estimate the shipping time back to us. Usually, these returns take a little longer than normal, so please be patient.

Each prescription will be verified and checked By Our Quality Control team and then shipped sealed in the manufacturer’s sterile packaging and free of all manufacturer defects.
There will be no refund or exchange once orders are shipped or dispatched
However, You can request a refund within 30 days of your order date, if you find that you have been shipped the wrong items, the items are not sealed in the manufacturer’s sterile packaging, or you discover a problem with the lens.
**Vials, boxes of lenses, and multi-packs that have been opened, marked, or damaged are not returnable
**Notes - return, exchange & refund criteria
- Only unopened boxes or glass vials can be returned for a full refund.
- Custom Lenses, multifocal lenses including novelty and made-to-order lenses, can not be canceled, returned, or exchanged.
- The wrong delivery address given by customers cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged.
- Toric lenses cannot be returned/exchanged/refunded as it is specially arranged due to it additional perimeter
- An admin US$2.50 fee ( per invoice if more than one ) will apply to each refund/ return processed.
- Shipping and Handling fees are not refundable.
- Mistakes caused by wrong prescription given and wrong product ordered by customers cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged.
- All returns must be accompanied by an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number obtained through our Customer Service Department or they will not be processed.
- Please be sure that your Packing Slip and Returns Form are inside the package you are returning. Your return may take longer to process if the Returns Form and the Packing slip are not also returned.
- It can take up to 6 weeks to process your return (longer in the case of international and APO/FPO addresses).
- Any claims of defective lens, wrongly send lens, and item(s) not as described must be verified by photo/ picture and with other relevant documents indicated by our customer service. ( contact us for further instruction if required )

COLOR AND PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

DELIVERY
